Saath Paar Zindagi ( Life Beyond 60 ) is a powerful cinematic tribute to five remarkable Padma Shri Awardee elderly women who have defied odds, shattered barriers, and redefined traditions in their unique ways, each from different walks of life, yet united by an unyielding spirit have left an indelible impact on society. The film weaves together their compelling journeys: Manjamma Jogati, a transgender folk artist, who preserved the ancient art of Jogati Nritya, rising from societal rejection to national recognition. Parbati Barua, India’s first female mahout, broke gender norms to dedicate her life to elephant conservation. Hirbai Ibrahim Lobi is a tribal leader empowering women in Gujarat’s Siddhi community, fostering economic independence and self-reliance. Friederike Irina Bruning (Sudevi Mata), a German woman who made India her home, rescuing and caring for thousands of abandoned cows. Chutni Mahato, a survivor turned saviour, has led the battle against the cruel practice of witch-hunting, protecting and rehabilitating falsely accused women. Through their struggles and triumphs, the film showcases how traditions evolve through courage, resilience, and determination. “WHEN A WITCH FIGHTS BACK” Chutni Mahato 65, also known as Chutni Devi, is a social worker from Jharkhand, India. Once a victim of witch-branding, she now works to help others who have been branded as witches and spreads awareness about superstitions and witchcraft
‘RADIO JAMBUR Hirbai hails from the African-origin Siddi tribe that resides in Jambur village near Gir forest in Gujarat, which is also the home of the pride of India, the Asian lion. She spent a large part of her life in the uplift of Siddi tribal women and for the education of children. Till now she has changed the lives of more than 700 women and innumerable children.

Apart from acting she got into film production with ‘Asylum’ a short film directed by Amitabh Arora which won – best thriller – Paris Film Awards 2023. Best director-Florence Film Awards 2023. Official section – Indian Film Festival Stuttgart and was given a special mention at the prestigious Dada Saheb Film Festival. Hails from a business family that runs a film studio chain in Mumbai called ‘Mother Nature Studios’ along with her husband, Vishal Kandhari. She is extremely passionate and compassionate about wildlife and speaks about the conservation of animals on global platforms. Has been appointed as an influencer by Nikon India for her outstanding wildlife photography. Her father Ashok Awasthi is also a well-known actor known for many famous advertisements. Her brother Yatharth Awasthi is associated with Rakesh Om Prakas Mehra films and Farhan Akhtar / Ritesh Sidhwani.
HAIDER KHAN
A renowned Mumbai-based director, screenwriter, and photographer, and the founder of Haider Khan Films. His feature film, Rohingya – People from Nowhere, was released on Apple TV, while Lingpoen saw a theatrical run in Bhutan; his documentaries include Langur – The Man Monkey (screened at the Oscar-qualifying Tehran IFF/Kolkata IFF) and Black India (Durban IFF). Across 300+ projects, he has directed brand and promo work (IIFA, major airlines, fashion labels) and earned honors such as a Sony World Photography Award.

They have been recognized for their extraordinary efforts, receiving the fourth-highest civilian award in India, The Padma Shri.
